“Israel air force aircraft struck missile manufacturing facilities used to produce the missiles that Iran fired at Israel over the last year," the IDF said. Simultaneously, the IDF struck surface-to-air missile arrays and additional Iranian aerial capabilities" it added. Israel has also warned Iran against retaliating. 

Iran has not yet reported on any damages resulting from Israel's attack.

Early this month, Iran's missile barrage against Israel followed the killing of Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah in Beirut by Israel and the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh.

Israel has intensified its attacks on Hamas forces in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon in recent weeks.
