Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam told the conference that digitization aims to improve transparency in medical activities and service quality to benefit patients.
“We have to resolve specific issues. Next year we’ll operate an uninterrupted medical system in which patients can choose a hospital, a doctor, and time to visit the hospital. Patients and their relatives always want to be treated in central hospitals. We have to resolve this problem so patients can access good doctors while reducing pressure and overloading at central hospitals,” said Mr. Dam.
The Health Ministry inaugurated the Vietnam Healthcare Network, the Healthcare Data Management Platform V20, and the Electronic Clinical Record Platform at the conference.
