HCMC wants further student exchange programs with Nagasaki

(VOVWORLD) -Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem said Ho Chi Minh City wants to enhance the student exchange program with the Japanese prefecture of Nagasaki, while receiving Takushima Toshio, President of the Industry and Trade Association of Nagasaki prefecture on Thursday.

Lauding the initiative to organize the exchange program for students of the two localities, Liem thanked the association for supporting students from HCM City in the 2016-2017 school year.

He also voiced his hope that the program will enable more students of HCM City to come to Nagasaki this year. Liem said that this year HCM City wants to work with Japanese localities to arrange cultural activities on the occasion of the 40th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties.
