(VOVworld) – Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong on Saturday received visiting Minister-President of the French Speaking Community of Belgium Rudy Demotte.

Mr. Phong said Vietnam treasures the comprehensive cooperation with Wallonie-Bruxelles region and with Belgium. 20 years after the Wallonie-Bruxelles delegation was established in Hanoi, bilateral ties have flourished. Mr. Phong suggested that both sides worked together in urban transportation, high tech, and health care. Mr. Demotte said both sides need to cooperate through concrete projects, focusing on cultural and economic cooperation.
