Saigontourist Deputy General Director and head of the festival's organizing committee Truong Duc Hung, said: “The festival stimulates tourism demand and promotes tourism recovery in HCMC and in Vietnam. It’s a food tour where people can enjoy the cuisine of every region in the country.”

The festival’s activities include art performances, cultural exchanges, and folk games. Artisans from craft villages demonstrate wine making, sedge mat weaving, brocade, pottery, tofu, vermicelli, and basket weaving.
