HCM city presents charity houses, Tet gifts to Tay Ninh residents

(VOVWORLD) - A delegation from Ho Chi Minh City led by municipal Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen handed over 15 charity houses to disadvantaged people in the southern province of Tay Ninh ahead of the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

The delegation also presented 200 gift packages worth more than 10,000 USD to local poor people and workers.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh City allocated 20,000 USD from the city’s “For the Poor” Fund to provide Tet gifts to underprivileged households in Tay Ninh.
