(VOVworld) – Hanoi’s authorities have hailed the great contribution made by journalists and news agencies in communicating the policies of the Party, State and the city as well as reflecting its socio-economic and cultural activities.
At a meeting with journalists and representatives of news agencies in Hanoi on Friday to mark the 90th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao said that the press has also reflected shortcomings and unresolved issues in the city and made proposals to resolve them. Mr. Thao said the press was an important channel of information, which has given a lot of support to the management and implementation of the city’s political tasks.
