(VOVworld) - Hanoi People’s Committee and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a dialogue on Friday to promote tourism cooperation with Japan.

This was an opportunity to seek for competent investors to invest in Hanoi’s infrastructure projects to boost the municipal social economic development. Hanoi Mayor Nguyen Duc Chung said bilateral ties have gone through 40 years of development and Hanoi wishes to boost its cooperation with Japan. He added: “Japan is a world powerhouse in economic development, science and technology. We want to appeal for Japanese investment in high tech agriculture, urban railways, supportive industry, human resource development, high quality tourism and healthcare services, shopping malls and convenient stores.”
