The Administration cited data from the travel tracking tool Google Destination Insights as showing that international searches for tourist accommodations in Vietnam in October 2022 continued to increase and were 20% up compared to September 2022.

The top 10 most searched countries for Vietnam tourism include the US, Australia, Singapore, India, South Korea, Japan, UK, Malaysia, Thailand, and Germany.

Top 10 most searched places in Vietnam include Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Hoi An, Vung Tau, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Hue, and Phan Thiet.
