Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Health Hoang Duc Hanh said that Hanoi will receive 8,000 doses of the vaccine for its first phase.

In addition to vaccination, Hanoi will continue to strengthen communications to encourage people to use facemasks, disinfectants, social distancing, and health declaration, and avoid large gatherings, he added. 

Ho Chi Minh City will continue to keep discos, bars, and karaoke clubs shut. Other service businesses will be allowed to reopen on Tuesday.
