8,000 doses have been allocated to dozens of health facilities in Hanoi, including the Hanoi Center for Disease Control, and Duc Giang and Thanh Nhan hospitals.
“The vaccination program must be transparent, effective, and safe. It’s been going pretty well,” said Hanoi’s Vice Chairman Chu Xuan Dung.
Health workers at the Gia Lai provincial field hospital were the first in the Central Highlands province to be vaccinated on Tuesday.
Vietnam rolled out the COVID-19 vaccination on Monday, and plans to import about 150 million doses of vaccines for its nearly 100 million people.
