Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Flower Festival to open with fireworks

(VOVWORLD) -500 high-altitude fireworks and another 150 low-altitude ones will bright the sky in Hai Phong City during this year’s “Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Flower Festival” to be held on May 11.

The festival entitled “Brightening Up the Heritage Region” will celebrate the 69th anniversary of Hai Phong’s Liberation Day and receive UNESCO’s recognition of Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba archipelago as world natural heritages.

Hai Phong City is an important part of the northern key economic region. It has a rich culture with 555 ranked relics, including one world natural heritage site, two special national relic sites, and 119 national relic sites.
