(VOVworld) – 32 European Parliament MPs have formed a friendship group of Members of Parliament who love Vietnam.

At the  launch ceremony in Belgium on Wednesday, Vietnamese ambassador to Belgium and head of the Vietnamese delegation to the European Union Vuong Thua Phong said this was significant event to mark the 25^th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the EU.
He said he hopes the EP will continue to boost Vietnam-EU ties after a Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the EU is signed.
Jan Zahradil, Vice Chairman of the EP’s International Trade Committee, said Vietnam has achieved considerable economic growth and plays an important role in ASEAN.
