PM Pham Minh Chinh addresses an annual forum on Industry 4.0 in Hanoi on December 6, 2021.

Mr. Chinh said Vietnam has chosen an all-people approach in the fight against COVID-19 and will continue to pursue the policy of safely flexibly adapting to and effectively controlling the pandemic.

The Government will focus on improving human resources in the healthcare sector, strengthening the grass-roots medical system and preventive medicine, ensuring sufficient COVID vaccines and drugs, and removing obstacles hindering production and business activitie, he said.

“We have to make full use of our human resources. People should be the centre, subject, and driving force for development. We will never sacrifice our social security or the environment for economic gains,” said PM Chinh.   

The PM also reiterated Vietnam’s foreign policy of multilateralisation and diversification, adding that the country will develop relations with its partners in a more practical and effective manner.
