Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo Member and President of the Academy, made the statement during a meeting in Hanoi on Thursday with Doron Avnin, Vice President of Google in charge of government affairs and public policy in emerging markets.
Avnin praised Vietnam's strategic vision, especially Resolution 57 on developing science, technology, and innovation. He reiterated Google’s readiness to work with Vietnam in digital transformation, especially education and training of high-quality human resources.

The two agreed to soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding on science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and AI, and to cooperate in program development and training at the Academy.
