Being the President of Bundestag, German Parliament, he said a stable alliance between the Union and the SPD will be preferable, adding that the chancellor could still form a minority government.

Schaeuble said coalition talks should be completed “sooner rather than later,” noting that the Bundestag will not be fully capable of action unless a new government is formed.
