(VOVworld) – Thousand of Germans marched on Saturday to protest against war and demand a more humanitarian policy for refugees.
(VOVworld) – Thousand of Germans marched on Saturday to protest against war and demand a more humanitarian policy for refugees. Protesters raised banners which said “War is terrorism” and "For a world without war, exploitation and racism”. They demonstrated their opposition to the deployment of German troops in foreign countries and the use of drones in war. They called for withdrawal of all nuclear arms from Europe.

Demonstrations were staged in Stuttgart, Wiesbaden, Fulda, and many others.

Easter march began in Britain in 1958 and has continued in Germany annually. Hundreds of thousands of people took part in Easter marches between 1968 and 1983, protesting the Vietnam War and the rearmament of the NATO.
