(VOVworld)- Major news agencies and papers in Germany on Tuesday widely covered Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s official visit to Germany and his meetings with Mr. Winfried Krestchmann, the Minister-President of Baden Wurttemberg in Stuttgart. The Focus and Die Welt newspapers quoted the President as saying that Vietnam is a successful and emerging country and that his State wanted to deepen its relations with Vietnam. Mr. Krestchmann urged both sides to expand cooperation in vocational training and education.

The Evening Dusseldorf newspaper reported on the discussions and working sessions on bilateral economic cooperation held during Prime Minister Dung’s visit.  The Prime Minister arrived in Berlin on Tuesday and is scheduled to hold talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, meet with President Joachim Gauck and Parliamentary Speaker Norbert Lammert. He will also attend the Security Forum under the theme “Challenges of security, politics and external relations with Asia” held by the Korber Institute and the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany.
