French Naval Ship visits Da Nang city

(VOVworld) - The French Naval Ship Vendémiaire has docked at Tien Sa Port in the central coastal city of Da Nang and will hold joint exercises with the Vietnamese navy from November 4th to 9th.

Both sides are also expected to discuss their experiences in maritime activities. The vessel was put into service in 1993, operating in the Pacific region and based at Nouméa ( the capital of French New Caledonia in the Pacific ocean). This is one of 5 French vessels which are charged with sea patrol, supporting ships at sea and fishery ground surveillance.
