Speaking to the press, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, said that it was a good atmosphere and discussions were moving forward in a spirit of goodwill, but no progress was noticed. Senior US officials blamed Iran and demanded Iran to make concessions. The previous three rounds of talks focused on the toughest issues related to the future of the Arak nuclear reactor Iran plans to build. Meanwhile, the US demanded Iran's ballistic missile program be included in the agenda, considering it part of a possible final deal to end Iran’s nuclear program.
