The BBC reviewed Mr. Do Muoi’s political career, saying he became the Party leader during a time of rapid change for Vietnam, after the Party eliminated the subsidy mechanism and began the renewal process. He promoted economic reforms and continued the legacy of Party leader Nguyen Van Linh.

China’s Xinhua news agency reported on Mr. Do Muoi’s biography and political career, noting that the Party leader had held several positions and contributed greatly to the revolution of the Vietnamese Party and nation, especially the country’s renewal process.

Other media agencies such as The Washington Post, ABC News, New York Times, and Daily Mail also reported on Mr. Do Muoi’s political career and his contribution to the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese Party and people.
