(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s economy is moving forward while Asia struggles, said foreign experts.

Sri Jegarajah, CNBC business and financial correspondent, said Vietnam’s growth rate reached 6.9% in the 3rd quarter while regional opponents are unstable amid trade wars and a stronger USD. He said Vietnam is expanding production, attracting increased foreign investment, and raising Vietnamese workers’ productivity.

Global Strategist and CEO at Fuller Treacy Money Eoin Treacy said Vietnam is benefiting from a supportive government and a pioneer market. Regulations on foreign property in Vietnam are becoming freer, he added.

Vietnam's GDP is forecast to grow 6.8% in 2018.
