Foreign diplomats congratulate Vietnam on National Day

(VOVWORLD) - Lao Deputy Ambassador to Russia Vongvilay Thiphalangsy offered his best wishes to the Party, State and people of Vietnam during his visit on Tuesday to the Vietnamese embassy to mark the 77th National Day of Vietnam (September 2).

The diplomats of both countries spoke highly of the special relationship between the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos and reaffirmed the determination to continue to cultivate the bilateral friendship.

On the same day, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic held a celebration in Prague, where Deputy Foreign Minister Pham Quang Hieu pointed out that the Czech Republic was one of the first 10 countries to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam (in 1950).

Hieu said that political relations between the two countries have become increasingly reliable, adding that Vietnam appreciates the Czech Republic’s support in promoting cooperation between Vietnam and the EU. Congratulating Vietnam on its National Day, Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Tlapa spoke highly of the role of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, and said he hopes there will be more Czech technology companies in Vietnam and that tourism between the two countries will continue to grow strongly.

In Budapest, Hungary government and parliament officials and 400 diplomats, journalists, and Vietnamese expats attended a ceremony to mark Vietnam’s 77th National Day.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Nguyen Thi Bich Thao said the two governments and peoples have always treasured the bilateral relationship. She expressed her belief that the relationship will continue to grow.
