Football star Quang Hai inspires the world in AFC campaign on Covid-19 fight

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai has teamed up with Iran’s Alireza Faghani and China’s Wang Shanshan to deliver the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)'s Break The Chain campaign to raise awareness about the coronavirus pandemic.

The AFC said in its website: “With millions around the world engaged through the BreakTheChain series, the trio are the latest Asian icons to raise awareness on practising the necessary measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 while urging everyone to follow the health and personal hygiene guidelines put in place by the Word Health Organization (WHO).”

Several more icons including Thai duo Chanathip Songkrasin and Kawin Thamsatchanan will feature the AFC Break The Chain campaign in the coming days.

22-year-old Quang Hai and his teamates of Hanoi FC have already joined national communications and fund raising campaigns to help fight Covid-19 in Vietnam.
