(VOVworld) – A conference was held Friday in Ho Chi Minh City by the National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents, and Children, to consult experts on the draft Law on Religions and Beliefs. Scientists, religious managers, and dignitaries, shared their experiences and contributed opinions to improving the Law on Religions and Beliefs. They agreed that the Law must embody the Constitution’s spirit of ensuring freedom of religion and belief and localizing international conventions Vietnam has signed while addressing the law’s feasibility and shortcomings in state management of issues of religion and belief.
