The Vietnam Marine Police studied documents on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes.

The exhibition is held by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Vietnam Marine Police. The exhibits include a bibliography compiled by Do Ba in 1686, considered the most ancient document mentioning Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes, which were at that time called “Golden Sand Dune”. Royal documents under the Nguyen dynasty also show Vietnam’s exploitation, management, and sovereignty of the archipelagoes.
