(VOVworld)- The Hanoi Ceramic Museum and the Hanoi Old Quarters Management Board held a folk painting exhibition on Friday at the Hanoi Old Quarters Cultural Exchange Center to welcome the Lunar New Year festival.

The exhibition showcases more than 200 documents, artifacts, and films illustrating the culture of folk paintings and southern ceramics collected and restored by Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa, the owner of the Hanoi Ceramic Museum, over the past 6  years. A workshop on Vietnamese folk paintings and their cultural and  historical values and ways to preserve and promote them will also be held at the center. The exhibition will close on February 16.
