EP spokesperson Jaume Duch said the EFDD has not met requirements for a group at the EP, which needs members from at least 7 EU countries. The EFDD, formed in May and led by Nigel Farage, the leader of anti-EU UK Independence Party, had 48 members which half are from the UKIP and the rest are from the Italian “5 star movement” party.
