The two leaders said they have reviewed progress since the UK and the EU started negtiations, and agreed to boost efforts in the months to come. The two leaders had a broad, constructive exchange on current European and global challenges, including citizens’ security and anti-terrorist activities. EU leaders will meet on Thursday and Friday in Brussels to evaluate Brexit negotiations over the past months.
