The announcement was made by Josep Borrell, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy during his visit to Ukraine along with dozens of other senior EU officials.
To date, the EU has given Ukraine nearly 60 billion euros, 12 billion in military assistance and 18 billion to help the Ukrainian government run the country.
On the same day, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that the EU plans to impose new sanctions on Russia.
