EU ministers approve 500 mln euros in military aid to Ukraine

(VOVWORLD) -European Union foreign ministers agreed on Monday to allocate another 500 million euros for military aid for Ukraine, the seventh such package of aid.

The foreign ministers approved a further 45 million for "non-lethal equipment" for the EU's military training mission for Ukraine.

European Union countries also worked on a 10th package of sanctions to take effect next month against Russia for the Russia- Ukraine conflict.

In another development, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday criticized the West for their military aids of billions of USD for Ukraine.
