The airline will strengthen its presence in Asia by launching four weekly flights to Da Nang (Vietnam) and three weekly flights to Siem Reap (Cambodia), with a transit stop in Bangkok (Thailand).
Da Nang is the third destination in Vietnam chosen by Emirates for flight operations, following Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Round-trip flights to Da Nang will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with a two-class configuration, featuring 35 business class seats and 368 economy class seats.
Emirates says the flight schedule is optimized to facilitate seamless passenger connections from major European cities such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Milan, and Rome, as well as key US cities, to Da Nang.
Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, said: “The launch of direct flights to Da Nang by Emirates, a renowned 5-star airline, will create opportunities to promote the city to 150 countries and territories, attracting more tourists. Additionally, it will enhance transportation, trade, and business, supporting Da Nang’s development into an international financial center and free trade zone.”
Emirates’ new route to Da Nang also offers a convenient connection for affluent travelers from the Middle East. Da Nang currently has direct connections to 16 international routes, with an average of 50-60 flights per day.
