(VOVworld)- Egypt’s Interim government told the Egyptian Ministry of Interior Affairs on Wednesday to shut down the protests supporting ousted President Mohamed Morsi which have continued for a month in Nasr City and in Giza province. According to a government statement, the protests at these places are a serious threat to Egyptian national security. The Muslim Brotherhood and Morsi’s supporters immediately voiced objections to the decision, calling it a step closer to a “protesters bloodbath”, but many Egyptian citizens support the decision to disperse the protesters.
