Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, together with advisers to his regime, will face retrial on 13 April, Egypt's appeals court has decided. A retrial was ordered in January after the court accepted Mubarak’s appeal of the life sentence he has been serving since his conviction last June for ordering hundreds of anti-government protestors killed. According to MENA News, the ex-president will face the same charges as before, as will advisers and a former interior minister, Habib al-Adly, and six other advisers. Meanwhile, many protests across Egypt have demanded harsher punishment for Mubarak.
