(VOVworld) - A spokesperson for the Egyptian government Sherif Shawky said on Saturday that the interim Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi proposed that the Muslim Brotherhood be dissolved. According to Shawky, Beblawi asked the Ministry of Social Affairs to consider the legality of the move, ruling out any opportunity to reconcile with the Muslim Brotherhood. In the past 24 hours, 173 people were killed during fierce clashes between security forces and supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi, mostly members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
