(VOVworld) – Egypt’s parliamentary elections, the first since President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi took office, will take place in stages from October 17 to December 2, the Electoral Commission announced Sunday.

In a complex electoral system for the 568-member parliament, Egyptians living abroad will vote on October 17. The elections were initially scheduled for early 2014 but have been delayed many times.
