Head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Andriy Purgin said Thursday that local congressmen want to go ahead with the referendum scheduled for this Sunday. Purgin said that is the decision of the people of Donbass and they have no right to revoke it.
Acting Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council Andriy Parubiy said on Thursday that the Kiev government will continue its military campaign in eastern Ukraine to prevent Ukrainian federalization.
