Drone light show will thrill visitors at Ha Long Carnival 2024

This will mark the 16th year that the festival has been held and will kick off the summer tourism season of Ha Long city and other localities in the province with cultural, art, sporting, and tourism activities, according to the Ha Long municipal People’s Committee.

The event is scheduled to take place on the occasion of the upcoming holidays of National Reunification Day on April 30 and May Day on May 1. It will also feature the participation of thousands of local and international singers, dance troupes, beauty queens, professional artists, and folk artisans.

The organizing board said that the goal of the city is to popularize the images of Ha Long Bay with a 30-year journey of being recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage site, whilst also affirming the brand of Ha Long Carnival.

The provincial authority also informed that nearly 50 cultural, sporting, and tourism events will be held in the second quarter of this year.

The locality is striving to draw at least 17 million tourists, including three million international holidaymakers, this year, with total tourism revenue of over VND39 trillion.
