(VOVworld) - The Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises held a workshop for consulting the business circle on the draft law on supporting small, medium enterprises in Hanoi on Saturday. Dr. Nguyen Van Than, President of the association said small and medium enterprises account for the majority of Vietnam’s economy and play an important role in creating jobs and improving workers’ incomes. Every year they generate more than half a million new jobs, use 51% of social labourers, and contribute more than 40% to the GDP. At the workshop, representatives from small and medium enterprises praised the State’s incentives and proposed that theses incentives should become law to propel enterprises.
