It  devoted its entire front page to President Kim Jong Un’s itinerary in Vietnam. In the accompanying story, prominence was given to the enthusiastic greeting Mr. Kim  received from the Vietnamese people.

DPRK state news agency KCNA  reported on Thursday that US President and the DPRK Chairman had sincere, in-depth discussions to prepare the way for comprehensive and ground-breaking results at their second summit.

The KCNA said the summit in Hanoi began thanks to the ardent wishes and extraordinary determination of the two leaders to end confrontation and enmity and usher in peace and prosperity in their place.
