(VOVworld)- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will conduct live artillery-firing drills from 3 pm Wednesday through Friday, near the disputed inter-Korean maritime border, said the Republic of Korea’s military on Wednesday.
The area is located just 1 km north of the Northern Limit Line (NLL), established by the US three years after the Korean War ended in 1953, which Pyongyang has denied is an official inter-Korean border.
The Republic of Korean military said it will closely monitor the firing exercises.
