President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Do Van Chien told the launching ceremony that the rally marks the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Year and the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations in 2025. "The program provides material support to help Cuba overcome immediate difficulties and conveys a strong message of sharing, empathy, and international solidarity, and that under any circumstances, the Vietnamese people always stand shoulder to shoulder with the Cuban people. Vietnam-Cuba solidarity is an invaluable asset of both nations.
