Trump will serve a second term in the White House as the 47th President of the United States. He previously served as the 45th President from 2017 to 2021.
On November 5th, Election Day, Trump swept all seven battleground states – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania – gaining 93 electoral votes.
Shortly after projected results were announced, Trump made a celebratory speech before a large crowd of his supporters in Palm Beach, Florida. On December 17, the electors will meet in each state and formally cast their votes for President and Vice President. Trump will take the oath of office at the Capitol in Washington, DC on January 20, 2025.
