(VOVworld)- HCM City’s Youth Union organized a Tet celebration program for disadvantaged children on Tuesday. More than 1,000 street children and those from disadvantaged circumstances went shopping in the supermarket, went to a concert and a flower festival and receive Tet gifts. The HCM City’s Youth Union also presented 4,000 Tet gifts to children at the Ben San Leprosy Treatment Center in Cu Chi district and disabled children in the city. The organization presented more than 5,000 gifts, 100 square sticky rice cakes and other items to poor and disadvantaged people. Volunteer students have traveled to remote border villages to help upgrade the electricity system, provide medicines and repair houses and school computers.
