(VOV) - More than 600 books, newspapers, magazines, photos and pictures about the “Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the Air” Victory are on display at an exhibition called “Dien Bien Phu in the Air through domestic and international documents” at the Vietnam National Library.

Kieu Thuy Nga, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Library, said: "These are precious documents from the National Library from the resistance war time. We are also showing a PhD thesis and new research on Dien Bien Phu in the air. The documents include articles and diaries written by foreign reporters who witnessed the war in Vietnam. Those documents have high historical interest showing the courage of Hanoi during the 12 days and nights of the Dien Bien Phu in the Air battle".

A photo exhibition on the Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air victory also opened in Quang Ngai. The exhibition displays nearly 100 photos, documents and pictures showing the staunch fighting spirit and determination of the Vietnamese people which resulted in the Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the air victory.
