(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue attended the solidarity festival in Nghi Hoa ward, Cua Lo township, Nghe An province, on Saturday, marking the 86th founding anniversary of the Vietnam United National Front on November 18.
Mr. Hue called on every citizen and community to constantly uphold their tradition of solidarity and join efforts with the Party and government to undertake socio-economic plans. He asked the local administration to take measure to help the people escape poverty and improve the quality of life, while preserving traditional culture in residential areas.
Also on Saturday, attending the national unity festival of local ethnic people in Chieng Co commune, Son La province, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong urged the local cadres and people to stay united and help each other to develop their economy. Ms. Phong delivered 10 gifts to households who excelled in the movement of building a healthy lifestyle in residential areas in Chieng Co.
