Deputy Prime Minister asks Kien Giang to quickly return to a new normal

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on Friday asked the southern province of Kien Giang to strive to reduce the mortality rate of COVID-19, strictly adhere to social distancing rules, facilitate the smooth circulation of goods, promote the role of the community COVID Team and grassroots police to quickly return to the new normal.

Deputy Prime Minister Dam, who is also Deputy Head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, worked with the leaders of Kien Giang province on Friday in Rach Gia city.

Over the past seven days, Kien Giang recorded 1,107 new infections, including 330 infections in the community.
