(VOVworld) – Military bases should be further renewed to meet demands in the new context. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said at a ceremony to mark 60th traditional day of Military Base sector, August 10.

A third-class National Protection Order was also presented to the sector by the Ministry of Defense at the ceremony. Mr. Phuc said that in the new context it was essential to build a revolutionary, elite and advanced armed force. He urged the Military Base sector to uphold Party and State policies and guidelines on national deference and logistics and be well aware of tasks of national defence and work out plans of action in the new context.
