While receiving WHO Regional Director for the Western Pacific Shin Young-soo in Hanoi yesterday, Nhan said Vietnam highly values WHO’s leading role in global health forums as well as its assistance to countries in the Western Pacific. Mr. Nhan said Vietnam’s hosting of the 63rd session of the WHO Regional Committee for the Western Pacific will help bring healthcare cooperation between Vietnam and WHO and between Vietnam and other countries in the Western Pacific to a new height. For his part, Shin Young-soo said WHO will actively adapt to rapid developments in the public health sector.
