Deputy PM, NA Vice Chairman visit national contributors

(VOVWORLD) - The Party, State, and Government have allocated a great deal of resources to caring for war invalids, sick soldiers, martyrs’ families, and revolutionary contributors, said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.

Mr. Binh visited the Sam Son Nursing Center for Meritorious People and another nursing center in Thanh Hoa province on Monday ahead of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27). He called on Thanh Hoa province to have its own support policies for Vietnamese heroic mothers, war invalids, and those who have rendered meritorious service to the nation.

In Hanoi, National Assembly Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong on Monday visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Pham Thi Minh Dan, wife of martyr Nguyen Minh Tien, born in 1941, who died in 1975 during the offensive for southern liberation and national reunification.

In Hai Phong, Mr. Phuong visited and gave gifts to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bon, wife of martyr Nguyen Thanh Binh, born in 1942, who died in 1979 on the southwestern border battlefield.
